Let's check out what they had to say...

Comments

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane pointed out some positives he's taken from his side this season, despite them losing out on trophies again.

Zwane was speaking to the media after Chiefs' 2-1 Nedbank Cup defeat to Orlando Pirates on Saturday and stated that there's plenty of improvement in performance from Chiefs this season compared to the last three.

The current Chiefs side is better statistically than that of Stuart Baxter and Gavin Hunt according to Zwane, but maintains they could've done much better this season.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Zwane Says Current Chiefs Better Than Baxter Hunt's" story:

"Stru that Coach, keep up the good work," says pgyakeni.

"Oh woooow, he promised Kaizer Chiefs supporters a Nedbank Cup and CAF [qualification], where we are they now? Gavin took Chiefs very far in CAF and he was compromised for Zwane and Baxter..." says lucas.mthiyane.

"You try to hide yourself with your finger bra, Mr. Zwane, we got nothing in the cupboard. No cups, nothing. This is not the Kaizer Chiefs we know, please pull up your socks we are not happy," says mar.

"You have our support 10111, the management and the true Khosi Nation are right behind you, we can't keep on changing coaches, we need quality players and to release players that are not Chiefs material.

"I've mentioned them in my previous comments, hands off Arthur Zwane, we have improved under you coach; next season it's going to be a fruitful season for us.

"We are just sleeping giants of SA football and we shall rise, drought of trophies also happens to the best and great football teams globally, KHOSI 4 LIFE!!" says user827808.

"If Kaizer Chiefs want to challenge for trophies again, they must hire a good, experienced coach, sign quality players and be humble. They must also limit posting training ground pics on social media, it works against them," says Dr Hlasela Khosi, who added:

"Mr Zwane don't forget that you are on a 12-month learner-ship. You must find a job soon because you cannot take us to the promised land."

Sticking with the Glamour Boys, club insiders informed Soccer Laduma's Siya Crew that Amakhosi are looking to offload two players at the end of the season.

The sources revealed that Chiefs have decided against continuing with Austin Dube and Sabelo Radebe. The former has made only one appearance this season, with the club reportedly not looking to extend his two-year stay.

Radebe on the other hand had reportedly been informed that he will go out on loan and the sources revealed that Amakhosi want the youngster to get adequate game time, preferably at a topflight club.

A reader commented extensively to the "Insiders Confirm 2 Players Leaving Chiefs" story, here what was said:

"I am so disappointed for what I saw on Saturday's game against Pirates. We don't have strikers to control the game from the beginning till the end. Our strikers let us down especially Saile. How can a good striker miss such opportunities like that.

"I mean we are 0-1 down, you get opportunities to eqaulise and you miss kick a ball not once, but twice. Come on guys, for me Saile cost us a game.

"He is the one to be blame. Caleb was even worse, I dont even remember him inside the box. In these last two games, give Duba a chance to prove himself. Get us Mayo, Mendieta, Jali, Kamvuidi and Ighodaro," says mlekeleli.
