Teams: Stellenbosch v SuperSport United

Date: 13 April 2024

Venue: Danie Craven Stadium

Stellies booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup after hammering Milford 6-1 in the round of 16, with Andre de Jong and Anicet Oura both scoring a brace alongside other goals by Devon Titus and Mervin Boji.

The Cape Winelands side extended their unbeaten streak to 20 matches in all competitions after a goalless draw against Sekhukhune United last weekend in the league.

Steve Barker will not be able to call the services of Thabo Moloisane, who is suspended for the encounter.

SuperSport, on the other hand, made it through to the quarter-finals after drubbing Richards Bay 3-1 in the last 16 thanks to a brace by Shandre Campbell and another goal by Gamphani Lungu.

Matsatsantsa, however, remained without a victory in the DStv Premiership this calendar year after a narrow 1-0 defeat to TS Galaxy last weekend.

The sides are meeting for the second time in a cup tournament this season after Stellies knocked out SuperSport 1-0 in extra-time in the MTN8 quarter-finals.
