Cape Town City will be seeking to redeem themselves in the Nedbank Cup when they host Royal AM in the last 32 on Sunday afternoon.

Nedbank Cup

Teams: Cape Town City v Royal AM

Date: 12 February 2023

Venue: DHL Stadium

Time: 18h00

The Citizens will be looking to respond after back-to-back losses against Stellenbosch and SuperSport United, which dragged them down to 11th on the table, just two points above the relegation zone.

City will also be motivated to get into the next round after they lost to the same opposition at this stage of the tournament last season.

Royal AM, on the other hand, will be looking to build on their confidence after they ended a three-game winless run with a win over Golden Arrows the last time out.

The win over Arrows, in John Maduka's first game back as one of the coaches, lifted Thwihli Thwahla up to ninth on the table.

The first round league meeting between the sides was shaded by City 2-1 in the Mother City a couple months ago.

Here's how they line up:

Cape Town City: Mpandle, Mkhize, Cupido, Fielies, Lakay, Mokhouane, Mdantsane, Ambina, Rhodes, Darwin, Zapata

Subs: Keet, Mokeke, Kajally, Mayo, Van Heerden, Gordinho, Nodada, Goedeman, Daniels.

Royal AM: Nyame, Dube, Sikakane, Matlaba, Manganyi, Kobedi, Mahlasela, Pelembe, Mogaila, Potsana, Sera
