The Brazilians secured their spot in the final after edging Al Ahly 1-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals.
The Tshwane giants won the first-leg 1-0 at home thanks to a goal by Thapelo Maseko and frustrated the Red Devils to a goalless draw in the second-leg in Cairo.
Wydad, meanwhile, also had a close encounter in the semi-finals after they eliminated North African rivals Esperance de Tunis in the semi-finals on penalties after a 1-1 draw on aggregate.
The Red and Whites have not played any domestic game since starting out in this tournament against Enyimba, where they thrashed them 4-0 on aggregate in the quarter-finals.
The sides last met in the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League last season, where Wydad knocked out Sundowns on away goals after a 2-2 draw on aggregate.
The Brazilians only managed a goalless draw in the first-leg against the Moroccan giants away but they were held to a 2-2 draw in the second-leg in Tshwane after a late own goal by Mothobi Mvala denied Rulani Mokwena's charges a dream CAF Champions final.
