Orlando Pirates will be chasing their first DStv Premiership victory since August when they host Sekhukhune United on Tuesday evening.

Teams: Orlando Pirates v Sekhukhune United

Date: 07 November 2023

Venue: Orlando Stadium

Time: 19h30

Pirates' woes in the league continued after they were beaten 2-1 by Cape Town Spurs last Wednesday, as their winless run in the Premiership extended to four matches.

The Buccaneers, who last won a league game in August, are lying 13th on the table with nine points from eight matches.

The Soweto giants will be without striker Zakhele Lepasa due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

As for Sekhukhune, they are still smarting from a loss in the Carling Knockout on Saturday after they were eliminated in the quarter-finals on penalties, after a goalless draw after extra-time against TS Galaxy.

Babina Noko are also going through an almost similar slump in the league, as they lost 2-0 to the Rockets a week prior to the cup game.

Sekhukhune are placed 11th on the table with 11 points after nine matches.

The sides have already met this season in the MTN8 quarter-finals, where Pirates hammered the Limpopo side 5-0 courtesy of a hat-trick by Zakhele Lepasa and other goals coming from Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Monnapule Saleng.

Here's how they line up:
