Chiefs ended their two-game losing streak in the league after edging Cape Town Spurs 3-2 on Wednesday courtesy of goals by Edson Castillo, Ranga Chivaviro and Christian Saile.
The win moved Amakhosi slightly up to seventh on the table with 14 points after 11 matches.
Similarly, the Buccaneers ended a four-game winless run in the Premiership after edging Sekhukhune United 1-0 on Tuesday thanks to a late goal by Thabiso Monyane.
The win over Sekhukhune saw Jose Riveiro's charges jumped to tenth on the table with 12 points from nine matches.
Chiefs completed a league double over the Buccaneers last season, as they won both matches by a 1-0 scoreline, firstly courtesy of Yusuf Maart and an own goal by Olisa Ndah in the return fixture extended their winning streak against the Sea Robbers to five matches.
