The Brazilians will be aiming to maintain their strong start to the domestic season after thrashing Richards Bay FC in the MTN8 quarter-finals last weekend.
Sundowns are set to be without Lucas Ribeiro Costa and Peter Shalulile once again, with the attacking duo linked with departures in recent weeks.
Chippa, meanwhile, begin their domestic campaign this afternoon after not taking part in the first round of the MTN8.
The Chilli Boys will start a new era under Sinethemba Badela, who takes over in his first ever head coach role in professional football.
The Gqeberha outfit also bolstered their squad significantly, having brought in Abdoulaye Mariko and Goodman Mosele on loan from Orlando Pirates while Sammy Seabi, Elson Sithole and Azolo Tshobeni have also signed for the club.
