What's the story?
The FIFA 23 Shapeshifters Team 1 has finally been revealed after weeks of TOTS squads, with amazing ICON cards, an African baller picked and an Objectives card for South African star Gift Links.
The Danish-based star was given an astronomical rating in the 90s in the promo that awards heavily boosted player items with new position changes and skill upgrades.

FUT Shapeshifters with Gift Links
After six weeks of the TOTS promo in FIFA 23, the fan-favourite promo has been replaced in Ultimate Team by Shapeshifters with some incredible position-changed players and FUT ICONs such as Pele included.
Other ICONs include Robin van Persie, Sócrates, Fernando Hiero and Frank Rijkaard, with Shapeshifters Team 1 featuring an African star in the form of Cameroon's Karl Toko Ekambi as a Premium Shapeshifter with Gift Links as an Objective.
The 64-rated Links has been given 94-rating for the promo as a unlockable Shapeshifters Objectives Player and the left-sided baller is only three rating points from Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes, who is listed as left winger for this promo.

Links has had a decent season in Denmark for Aarhus GF, making over 30 appearances and operating mainly as a left-wing-back.
This Shapeshifters Team 1 squad might be one of the best that's been selected in the promo's history, with Virgil van Dijk as the highest-rated regular Shapeshifters item at 98 overall.
