FIFA 23 Shapeshifters: What To Expect From Upcoming FUT Promo

As the Team of the Season (TOTS) nears its conclusion on Ultimate Team, another promo is set to replace it in the form of FUT 23 Shapeshifters.

What's the story?

The mammoth TOTS promo is on its way out the door with the Shapeshifters promo expected to takeover FUT and see out the remaining months of the FIFA cycle.

The leaks on social media suggest that FIFA 23 Shapeshifters will return after last year's success and could reportedly be around until July.

FUT Shapeshifters promo

The TOTS promo has been running in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team for over a month with an Ultimate TOTS squad is set to be released later this week when the promo comes to its end.

The replace TOTS, a fan-favourite event, Shapeshifters will reportedly make its return to FUT.

Shapeshifters gives EA the chance to release some unbelievable cards to see out to the end of the current FIFA 23 Ultimate Team campaign. 

The promo first appeared in FUT 20 and made a welcome return in FUT 22, and gamers can expect to see top players getting stats boosts, and have their base positions changed, transforming them into new threats.

As mentioned by various gaming media outlets, the promo could run until 14 July, which could be an indication of EA repeating last year's approach of four squads being released during the event.

The Shapeshifters event could also see SBCs and Objective players made available with every team release, along with FUT Hero items to spice things up further.
