What's the story?
Football Manager has been released every year, around the same time since 2005 and this year's game comes with some major upgrades.
Along with the improved features, Football Manager 2023 will also be available on PS5 and Xbox for the first time ever, under a shorter name.

Football Manager 2023
Coming out on 8 November this year, the popular PC game, is ready for the console world under the name FM23 Console.
Unlike the PC version, where the matchday experience isn't as hands on, the game has introduced new methods to make the manager's influence on the game more obvious.
Team talks will also be included in the console version of Football Manager, It'll be available at half-time and full-time;
"These interactions with your players will allow you to make your voice heard with a range of reactions and become a difference-maker in every situation," states the game's website.

Recruitment and tactics have been overhauled massively with in-game tactics being changed by the new out-of-possession tactical instructions.
The upgrade with the tactics user interface and the remodeled touchline tablet allows gamers to have a better understanding of the data and insights from a match.
FM23 will have brand new recruitment aspects to it. The changes that have been are there make scouting and recruiting more straightforward.
Recruitment Focuses on FM23 Console gives gamers the tools to recruit the way they want to and can set specific conditions for a role they want to fill and/or identify a league or nation they're interested in exploring and see what their Scouts can find.
The Experience Matrix is another new feature that allows managers to split their squad into separate groups according to their experience and development.
Football Manager also managed to secure a licensing deal with UEFA and their club competitions Champions League, Europa League and the Conference League will be included.
As mentioned by Goal.com, these competitions have been available on the game, just under different names.
