Despite not having featured in an official match for the Golden Arrows senior team, a promising youngster from their DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) side has caught the attention of several rival DStv Premiership teams.
Siya sources have indicated that Simphiwe Sithole, a skilled midfielder, has garnered interest from both AmaZulu FC and Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs.

Sources close to the situation added how the 21-year-old Sithole is on the radar of Amakhosi.
"He was training with the Arrows senior team most of the time last season but he was not used. I think Chiefs saw him during the DDC games because they always have their scouts there. As for AmaZulu, I think it's because they are in Durban their scouts should have seen him play as well."
The potential for Sithole's departure from Arrows remains uncertain, but interest from prominent clubs suggests that discussions could soon materialise.
"Not sure whether Arrows will release him or not but Chiefs are serious about him and they want to open talks for the player," the source added.
A second source compared Sithole's playing style and potential to the late Gift Leremi, a former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder known for his exceptional talent.

"Whoever and whichever team signs him they will gain a lot. He is only 21 years old and he is quality. Do you remember the late Gift Leremi? He is in that class. I know he has been training with Golden Arrows' senior team but he didn't play but in the DDC team he was one of the top players not only for Arrows but in the league as well. It will be a great investment to whichever team signs him," the second source stated.
As interest from top-tier clubs grows, his career trajectory could see a significant leap forward.
Soccer Laduma reached out to both Chiefs and AmaZulu for comment regarding interest in Sithole, but responses were not forthcoming by the time this report was published.
As the transfer window progresses, the young midfielder's future will be a storyline to follow, potentially marking a significant step in his professional career.
