If Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile moves to Esperance de Tunis, then it could create a pathway for Bafana Bafana forward Elias Mokwana, the Siya crew understands.
As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Esperance have been receiving inquiries about their South African forward, Mokwana from various clubs in Europe as well as the Middle East.

With Shalulile reportedly linked to the Tunisian giants, according to various other media locally and abroad, a Siya source close to the player has indicated that there would then be an increased possibility for Mokwana to move.
However, that is if Shalulile transfers to Esperance, a potential move that isn't guaranteed to happen.
"There is a chance for Elias (Mokwana) to move now. But it's believed that it could only work if Esperance finalise the signing of Peter Shalulile from Mamelodi Sundowns. For the team, it will be like a direct replacement, and that's why the move for Mokwana will only happen once Shalulile finalises his move. But now the chance is there for him," the insider, who is very close to Mokwana, told Soccer Laduma.
A second source indicated that while Shalulile's hypothetical arrival would open doors, financial considerations will ultimately determine Mokwana's destination.

"Yes, as much as the chances of him moving increase if Peter Shalulile joins the club, it won't be that simple as they are looking at the highest bidder that can meet their expectations. So it can go both ways, the arrival of Peter Shalulile as well as the right price for Mokwana," the second insider told the Siya crew.
The 26-year-old Mokwana has been a revelation since joining the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 side last season from Sekhukhune United. He featured in most games, scored goals, and was part of the club's squad at the FIFA Club World Cup in America in June.
The former Sekhukhune United winger has also established himself as a regular in Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana squad in recent times, enhancing his profile on the international stage.
