South African midfielder Mswati Lukhele Mavuso has been handed a golden opportunity abroad after linking up with Saudi Arabian outfit Al Fayha Club, where he is currently training.
Mavuso, who previously turned out for AmaZulu FC and Stellenbosch FC, is believed to be edging closer to securing a deal in the Saudi Pro League after Al Fayha tabled an offer. According to documents seen by Soccer Laduma, the 24-year-old has already reached a pre-contract agreement with the club, with terms running for two seasons starting from the 2025/26 campaign.

However, the player’s future is not sealed just yet. Mavuso’s representative, Gerald Baloyi of Vodia Sport International, confirmed that while Al Fayha are keen to secure his services, two clubs in South Africa have also expressed strong interest in bringing the midfielder back to the Betway Premiership.
Baloyi told the Siya crew, “Yes, Mswati is currently training with Al Fayha in Saudi Arabia. They are very interested in him, but I can also confirm that there are two teams in South Africa who have made enquiries about his availability. Right now, he is weighing his options, and we are looking at what will be the best move for his career.”
