A meeting is set to take place at Mamelodi Sundowns over the future of Kobamelo Kodisang, with a surprise decision not completely ruled out.
The challenge facing Kodisang and his representatives is figuring out what the next step is going to be after he struggled to get regularly game time at Sundowns.

He completed the first of his five-year deal, which is three years plus an option for two, and a meeting will give a clearer indication of what has to happen next for him.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma, Makaab said he would be meeting with Sundowns in a few weeks to have a talk with the technical team at Chloorkop.
"We must wait until after the Club World Cup. Once the club returns, I'll have a meeting with the technical at Sundowns and the football club and we'll look at the best option for both parties in terms of the future of KK. He has a long term contract at the club," Makaab said to Soccer Laduma.

After doing well in Portugal with Moreirense in the 2023/24 campaign, Makaab feels that Kodisang cannot be an ordinary player overnight. The agent also could not say for sure what should happen with the player after a disappointing campaign of not playing regularly.
"To be brutally honest, I am not sure. I have not wrapped my head around it. He only had 12 appearances, which for a player of his calibre should have had more game time. Don't forget in the previous season, he played 31 out of the 34 games Moreirense played in the topflight. So, you don't become an ordinary player overnight.
