With Golden Arrows back for pre-season, Soccer Laduma has been given an update on the future of head coach Manqoba Mngqithi.
Mngqithi joined the club in the second half of last season after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns in December and did not have it easy at the helm as Arrows struggled to find some momentum in their results.

Mngqithi had signed a deal until the end of the season, which expired at the end of June, and as things stand, Soccer Laduma understands that he has not concluded a new deal as yet.
There is, however, been progress with the club, with information coming through that Mngqithi and Arrows are currently in advanced talks to finalise a new deal.
An agreement could be concluded by the end of the week between Mngqithi's camp and the club, which will allow him to focus on pre-season preparations. Mngqithi has made it clear that he wants to make Arrows a competitive side and believes he can win silverware with them.
