Chippa United could be inundated with enquiries for one of the club's top performers as indications are that the player is attracting interest in the DStv Premiership.
After finishing the 2020/21 season with 23 league appearances, Isaac Nhlapo is said to be on the radar of a few clubs in the league, although his possible move could be complicated as he is currently under contract at the Gqeberha-based club.
The towering defender will be left with one year on his deal with the Chilli Boys as he signed a two-year contract when he joined from Ajax Cape Town (now Cape Town Spurs) last year.
As reported by the Siya crew, the Chippa captain had been offered to Orlando Pirates although it is not yet clear if he is one of the players that the Buccaneers will look to add to their roster in the new season.
Nhlapo, 30, was in the starting line-up as Chippa drew 1-1 with Richards Bay FC at the Umhlathuze Sports Stadium on Saturday, and has so far played an influential role in the Eastern Cape club's fight to retain their topflight status in the promotion/relegation play-offs, with sources indicating that the centre-back is being monitored by more than one club for his impressive performances.
