With Edmilson Dove having sealed a new chapter in his career after joining Iraqi giants Al Quwa Al Jawiya, his former Kaizer Chiefs teammate Ranga Chivaviro has opted against following him to the Middle East, the Siya crew has learnt.
Dove, 31, completed his switch to the Baghdad-based powerhouse after parting ways with Amakhosi at the end of last season, as reported by the Siya crew, with the Mozambican international set to compete in the Iraqi Premier League with one of the country’s most decorated clubs after ending a two-year spell at Naturena.

Sources in Iraq have indicated that more clubs there are monitoring the Betway Premiership for potential recruits, with Chivaviro among the players approached.
However, the 32-year-old striker is understood to have delayed making a decision and eventually turned down the opportunity, as his preference is believed to be a local move.
The Siya crew has been informed that Chippa United, who had already been in talks with Chivaviro earlier in the transfer window, renewed their contact this week in a fresh attempt to secure his signature. Negotiations are believed to be progressing well, with indications that the former Marumo Gallants and Chiefs forward could be unveiled by the Gqeberha-based outfit before the September 22 transfer deadline.

The Chilli Boys are believed to be also keen in bringing former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns forward Thabiso Kutumela to the Eastern Cape.
Should Chippa succeed in securing both Chivaviro and Kutumela, it would represent a significant statement of intent as the club looks to strengthen its attacking department.
