The sources added that the 38-year-old former JDR Stars keeper will stay at Sekhukhune until June 2027 at the most.
"It's because they want to keep him for longer and looking at his age they felt that two years is the right contract for now. By the time that two years expires he will be turning 40 years. But as a goalkeeper he can still be on top of his game by that time. But for now they have offered him a new two-year contract until June 2027," the Siya source stated.
Meanwhile, a second insider stated that they are planning to keep the Ivorian even after his contract comes to an end in 2027.

"The club is having other plans after his retirement. They have offered him a further two years playing contract but after that they want him to be involved with the club in other areas like coaching the young goalkeepers and other things. So, the two years is for playing and after that they will look into other duties which he can do for the club," the source added.
Last season, the 38-year-old played consistently and helped the team qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup.
