The Siya crew has been led to believe that retirement is a possibility for decorated midfielder Andile Jali.
The 34-year-old is currently a free agent after parting ways with Moroka Swallows a few months ago and it's believed that there is a chance that he is going to bring an end to a successful career which saw him playing for his national team and in Europe.
Jali's agent, Mike Makaab, recently spoke to the Siya crew, revealing that a decision will be made by the player on what happens next in his career. Should the hard-working midfielder continue playing next season, Makaab assured that the player would be fully committed to the game.
With a few more weeks left until the end of the campaign, Makaab is expected to have discussions with the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates star on the way forward. It's understood that there are no concrete offers as yet for the services of the midfielder and that could also play a role in whether or not he decides to carry on playing.
Should a good deal come through that makes sense for both parties, Jali is likely to continue playing. Before leaving the Dube Birds earlier this year, Jali made 13 appearances in all competitions. Only one of those appearances was from the bench.
