Mosimane has written to the world football governing body, where he indicated that the club unilaterally terminated his contract, according to Saudi Arabian publication Al Riyadiyya.
'Jingles' managed to lead the club from the Saudi Arabian First Division to the Saudi Pro League in just nine months.
As a result, Mosimane's contract stipulated that he would automatically continue as the club's head coach in the event of winning the league – something he managed spectacularly.
However, not only did the 58-year-old coach and his technical team not receive salaries for six months – but Mosimane is yet to receive any bonuses for promoting the team.
With a number of suitors keen on his services following his exit from Al Ahli, Mosimane was hastily snapped up by UAE-based side Al Wahda.
Along with his team and his quartet of backroom staff, Mosimane is currently on a two-week trip to Serbia, where the club have been preparing for the upcoming season.
