The Kaizer Chiefs academy alumnus has continued his ascent in European football, following yet another stellar campaign with the record Superliga champions.
Following his breakout 2023/24 season with the club from București, where he established himself as a mainstay, the Sebokeng native has once again been regarded as one of the best players in the Romanian top flight.
Last season, he was selected as one of the central defenders in the league’s Team of the Year, and following the recently concluded 2024/25 campaign — during which he helped the Reds and Blues win their record-extending 28th league title, and he has once again been named in the Superliga’s best XI.
He is one of only three players from last season’s list to be included again. Ngezana featured in 23 matches across both the regular league season and the championship round, as the club continue to enjoy a brilliant return on their €600 000 investment.
