Los Blancos, meanwhile, were drawn in Group H alongside Al Hilal, CF Pachuca , FC Salzburg.

According to Spanish outlet AS, Perez is planning to offer every squad player a bonus if they become the first team to win the new Club World Cup.

The Madrid outfit hold the record for winning the previous Club World Cup on five occasions and were the last team to win the old tournament.

The report adds that Perez is obsessed with becoming the first team to win the 32-team Club World Cup.

There are also great financial implications for the club as they stand to win prize money of $125 million (R2.2 billion), which is more than teams would get for winning the UEFA Champions League.

Los Blancos will be under the guise of new manager Xabi Alonso while they've already confirmed the signings of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen.
