Kaizer Chiefs’ latest training footage has offered a revealing glimpse into the state of the squad as one of the club's goalkeepers made a long-awaited return to training.
Here are four key things we noticed inside the Chiefs camp:
1.Bontle Molefe Is Back
After a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury and surgery, goalkeeper Bontle Molefe has officially returned to full training. His presence alongside Brandon Petersen and Bruce Bvuma is a welcome boost for the club’s goalkeeping department, which has lacked depth in recent months.
2. Nkanyiso Shinga Looking Slim and Ready
New signing Nkanyiso Shinga, who is yet to make his debut for the club, appears to have undergone a noticeable transformation. Initially arriving with concerns over his conditioning, Shinga now looks lean and match-fit. Coaches confirmed he’s been working closely with the fitness team, and the results are showing.
3. Rushwin Dortley Back With the Group
Defender Rushwin Dortley, who suffered a serious knee injury last season, is now back in full training. While his knee remains strapped, Dortley is participating in all group activities, a promising sign for a player who was once tipped to be a key figure in Chiefs’ backline.
