The likes of Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns have had busy transfer windows to bring players in, but that has not stopped several big-name players from moving abroad to further their careers.
Among the list of big exits are former Kaizer Chiefs captain Yusuf Maart, who left the Glamour Boys for Austrian side SV Ried, joining fellow South African Antonio Van Wyk.
Maart played a pivotal role in ending Kaizer Chiefs' 10-year trophy drought as he netted the winning goal in the Nedbank Cup final against Orlando Pirates.
South African U20 AFCON winner and player of the tournament, Tylon Smith, made the move to England with English Championship side Queens Park Rangers, where he is expected to join the team's youth setup.
Meanwhile, former Orlando Pirates winger Mohau Nkota surprised fans when he made the switch from the Buccaneers to the Saudi Pro League when he joined Al-Ettifaq alongside former Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.
