After shining in the Motsepe Foundation Championship last season, Keletso Makgalwa has continued his brilliant form — this time in the South African top flight with Sekhukhune United — making a strong case to be named Soccer Laduma's Player of the Season.

This season, Babina Noko have enjoyed yet another strong campaign in the Betway Premiership, as they head into the final game of the 2024/25 season looking to secure CAF Confederation Cup football for a second successive year.
They are currently only one point behind Stellenbosch FC, and a victory over Golden Arrows at the weekend — plus Stellies dropping points to Cape Town City — could see them competing among the best in Africa once again come 2025/26.
While there has been a lot of managerial change throughout the season for the Limpopo outfit, the one constant and major reason for their strong showing has been Makgalwa.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker signed for them at the start of the campaign from second division side Upington United, and has been wreaking havoc for PSL defences all season long.
No other player has more assists than the Mokopane native in the entire league, as he currently has 11 assists to his name. He recently won the Player of the Month award for April. The 28-year-old has also scored four goals in the league, making him one of the most efficient players when it comes to directly contributing to goals.

This season marks the highest number of matches he has played in a top-flight campaign, with 28 appearances — and he has made the most of his opportunities. Now, he will be hoping his efforts will be rewarded with a major individual prize at the end of the season.
