Real Madrid made it back-to-back wins in LALIGA with a 2-0 victory away to Sevilla on Sunday night.
The home side got off to a horrible start when Loïc Badé was given his marching orders on 12 minutes after picking up a straight red card for bringing down Kylian Mbappe, who was through on goal.
It got worse for Sevilla in the second half, as they were reduced to nine men three minutes after the break, with the referee handing a red card to Isaac Romero for a dangerous challenge on Aurelien Tchouameni.
Los Blancos mad the numbers game count as Mbappe bagged his 29th league goal of the season with a lovely strike from distance.
Mbappe now holds the record for the Madrid player with the most goals in a single league campaign.
Jude Bellingham made the game safe for Los Blancos on 87 minutes after getting on the end of Gonzalo Garcia's knockdown to bundled home from close range.
FC Barcelona 2-3 Villarreal
Newly-crowned champions FC Barcelona suffered a 3-2 defeat to Villarreal in their final hom game of the season.
The visitors got off to the perfect start as Ayoze Perez opened the scoring after four minutes played with his 20th league goal of the season.
Lamine Yamal brought the Catalan giants back on level terms in the 38th minute with a lovely strike from the edge of the box after cutting inside from the right flank.
The turnaround was complete on the stroke of halftime as Fermin Lopez made it back-to-back games with a goal.
The Yellow Submarine came out firing in the second half and pulled themselves level courtesy of a lovely composed finish by Santi Comesaña.
The visitors went on to bag the winning goal in the 80th minute through Tajon Buchanan's first league goal of the campaign.
