Contract Details Of New Pirates Signing Revealed?

Orlando Pirates are believed to be looking to beef up the club’s backline ahead of the new season, and news reaching the Siya crew is that the club has turned its attention to a Baroka FC defender.

Insiders have revealed that the Buccaneers are believed to be close to securing the services of Baroka FC right back Tshepho Mashiloane who has been a regular for his side in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Indications from sources, are that the deal is imminent.

"From the information we have, the deal is as good as done. It is believed to be a three-year deal which is expected to run from July 2025 to June 2028. Apparently, all the involved parties are believed to have reached an agreement on the deal for the defender.

Pirates are actually looking at bolstering the right back position ahead of the new season and Tshepho Mashiloane is one the defender in question at the moment and the deal is as good as done," a source informed the Siya crew.

"You remember, the club was believed to have agreed on a deal with Polokwane City for Thabang Matuludi but nothing came out after his injury and they have now apparently gone for Baroka FC defender Tshepho Mashiloane. They want a tight competition and they believe he will be a good addition," the source added.

The 23-year-old has been a regular for the Motsepe Foundation Championship side playing in 28 league games and scoring three goals this session.

Soccer Laduma reached out to Baroka FC for comment but attempts were unsuccessful.
