Morena Ramoreboli – a coach who discovered Lorch and coached him at Maluti FET College FC in the Free State at the start of the attacking midfielder's career, has congratulated the Bafana Bafana international on his achievements.
"I was watching last night's awards with my wife and she reminded me of when I discovered the boy and how it started for him in football. I am happy that the boy is now achieving things, because he understands exactly where we come from. It was a dream when it all started. I told him at the time, 'With the talent you have, there is a possibility that you would be something big in South African football', and that is happening today," said Ramoreboli.

"As coaches, we need to speak blessings to these boys so that when they excel we can say, 'Thanks, I was the one who managed to establish this boy.' I am so excited as if (I received) those awards. I'm very happy for him. I remember where they used to stay (while playing at Maluti), some of the windows were broken but they kept on pushing. The boy was still studying. We supported him as he kept on pushing until he finished his school. Today he is a professional player and with education. I'm proud of him," added the coach.
