Amakhosi have an opportunity end a decade of pain by lifting the Nedbank Cup trophy in Durban tomorrow. Standing in their way is Orlando Pirates, their rivals who are targetting a third consecutive Nedbank Cup title under departing coach Jose Riveiro.

Tefu Mashamaite, the retired defender who led Amakhosi to success in 2014/15, feels that Chiefs can win the game if they were to approach the game the same way they did when they beat Mamelodi Sundowns in the semi-finals.
Amakhosi came from a goal down to beat Sundowns 2-1 in the semis and Mashamaite believes they are going to need that 'dog-fight' approach to overcome the Buccaneers and end their trophy drought.
"For Chiefs to win, I don't think it will be some tactical miracle. At the end of the day, the Chiefs that played against Sundowns, in terms of playing and attitude and everything they threw at Sundowns...if we get that Chiefs on Saturday, I think there is a high possibility that Chiefs can win this thing," Mashamaite said to Soccer Laduma.

"I think they must have a dog-fight type of approach to the whole situation, to be the first team in 10 years to win a title for Chiefs. How much can you give? They must have that mentality and attitude."
