An Orlando Pirates target has revealed how a career-threatening injury proved to be one of the most amazing times of his life.

Peterson joined Bidvest Wits at the start of the current 2019/20 season as a free agent from Ajax Cape Town and could now have a new club barely a year later.
Before joining the Clever Boys from his boyhood club Ajax Cape Town, the 26-year-old suffered a career-threatening leg injury that saw him miss out on 12 months of action.
Bizarrely, 'Beeza' revealed how this period changed his life, particularly when it comes to his faith.
"It was an amazing experience for me. People will probably think I'm crazy because the injury was career-threatening, but in that time, so many things changed. I learnt so much about myself, and that injury brought me closer to God. For those who don't know, I'm a believer and a God-fearing man. The doctors told me that I might not play football again, but something in me just kept on believing and I realized afterwards that was God," Peterson revealed on Bidvest Wits' official website.

Peterson's agent Lance Davids revealed to the Siya crew that the keeper was 'unlikely' to relocate to Venda if the club sale does indeed take place, with the likes of Pirates keeping tabs on his situation.
Peterson is amongst seven goalkeepers who have been liked with transfers.
