An extra time goal from Keegan Dolly handed the Brazilians the win after regulation timed ended all-square.

Mosimane admits that it was a tough game, but he always expected the cup competition to be tight and in the end they made their own luck.

"It's a cup game and that's how it goes," Mosimane said after the game.

"The most important for Sundowns is to keep winning.

"We kept consistent and we kept winning. We have gone through to the next round.

"This is how we play the cup. When it's tough you squeeze a goal and individual brilliance from Keegan Dolly saw us score.

"We made it possible for ourselves."
