For some pundits in the South African football fraternity, it will be a battle of two former Bafana Bafana coaches, as Steve Komphela's Golden Arrows will take on Ephraim 'Shakes' Mashaba's Witbank Spurs in their eagerly-awaited match this coming weekend.
Abafana Bes'thende are set to travel to the Puma Rugby Stadium in Emalahleni for Saturday's Nedbank Cup Last 16 match against Spurs, who have improved with their results since the appointment of Mashaba as head coach in January, although the side is still 15th on the NFD log standings.

Arrows, on their side, will be looking for a morale booster with a win and to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition, after their disappointment with their 3-2 loss against SuperSport United in the league on Sunday.
Komphela says the KwaZulu-Natal outfit have studied Mashaba's team and are aware of what to expect against them albeit coming from a lower division.
"We have watched some of Spurs game and they are an energetic side. Their play has evidence of Shakes. Any team that's in the Last 16 must be taken seriously and this is how we will address the game," the former Kaizer Chiefs coach said, as quoted on Arrows' official Twitter account.
