Kaizer Chiefs' Ernst Middendorp has offered an injury update for the Glamour Boys as they prepare for this weekend's Nedbank Cup clash against The Magic FC. Read: Why Akpeyi Can't Play For Chiefs... The Nedbank could be Chiefs' last chance of silverware in 2018/19, and with Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns having already been knocked out, the Glamour Boys will fancy their chances. Though Daniel Akpeyi – who played for Chippa United against Sundowns – is cup-tied for the game, Middendorp has explained that there are no fresh injuries for them to worry about as they look to book their spot in the quarterfinals. Speaking to the media yesterday the German said, "We're good in terms of injury and in terms of yellow cards and suspensions, we have no question marks. Long term ones like Lebogang Manyama, Itu Khune and Erick Mathoho they are well known. "We had 25 players plus five goalkeepers on the training ground this morning, and this afternoon we'll have about 19." Meanwhile, Joseph Molangoane is continuing his recovery as he seeks to return to action before the season is out.
