MTN8 Semi-Final

Teams: Bloemfontein Celtic v SuperSport United

Date: 07 November 2020

Venue: Dr Molemela Stadium

A spot in the MTN8 final will be up for grabs when Bloemfontein Celtic host SuperSport in the second leg of their semi-final.

Matsatsantsa will be desperate to get on the scoresheet if they are get any chance of defending their trophy after playing to a 1-1 draw in the first-leg last weekend.

Ghampani Lungu rescued Kaitano Tembo's charges with the equaliser early in the second stanza after Ndumiso Mabena got the away goal for Celtic in the first half.

SuperSport got back to winning ways in the league after edging Stellenbosch FC 1-0 and will be in confident mood, sitting just one point behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns on the log.

Celtic, on the other hand, will be gunning for their first MTN8 final berth since winning the competition in 2005 and a goalless draw today would be enough to seal the win.
