Human has been a catalyst in Maritzburg United's turnaround in fortunes since Davids took over the job in November last year.
Alongside Tumelo Njoti and Genino Palace, the 22-year-old has formed part of a young midfield for the Team of Choice this campaign.
With his limitless potential, Davids has revealed how Maritzburg need to keep the youngster grounded for him to fulfil the early promise he has shown.
"He's a young player that has huge potential, Rowan Human. It's just about keeping him grounded and trying to get him to understand the skills he has and getting him to understand tactically the positioning in relation to when we have the ball, when to attack the space, when to pass and move," Davids told journalists after their 2-1 loss to Orlando Pirates.
"He has a huge potential, but it's a step-by-step to educate him and to help him understand his own strengths and weaknesses. To also hide those weaknesses by being in certain positions, by defending in a certain way. So, he will grow, he has a huge potential – but he should remain grounded, learn and absorb as much information as he can, and he will grow.
"I have no doubt that he can play on the highest level," he continued.
Human has made 19 appearances in all competitions this season and has managed two assists in that time.
