The Namibian, as so often is the case, proved to be the difference once again as Sundowns trumped CR Belouizdad in the CAF Champions League quarterfinal on Saturday.
Shalulile managed to score a brace which took his tally to 101 topflight goals and counting.
To commemorate the achievement, Sundowns' record goal scorer Daniel Mudau shared his thoughts on the striker who his closing in on his record of 110 goals for the club.
"I call him a monster because he wants to take the ball and put it in the net. You can see the power and the technique that he has. He doesn't score beautiful goals, he just scores goals and that's why the supporters like him," he told the club's media department.
"He can run, jump, he's strong, can hold the ball. He is awesome, something I didn't see for a while," he said.
His sentiments were echoed by Denis Onyango who has been teammates with Shalulile for the past three seasons.
"He's a nightmare to all the goalkeepers including us. What he does on the pitch on matchday is what he does even in training, so he's a guy who really loves to hit the net," he said.
"It's in him. Whenever he sees the goalposts, he wants to score, so it's not only the opposition goalkeepers (who) are facing the nightmare, but we are also facing it in training."
