Mamelodi Sundowns are back in training ahead of the new PSL season, just a little over 10 days before their 2025/26 campaign gets underway.
The Betway Premiership champions have started pre-season preparations later than all the other clubs in the league because of their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup back in June.

As mentioned by Soccer Laduma on Monday morning, the club is back in training, starting their preparations at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Sundowns start their season with a MTN8 quarterfinal clash against Richards Bay, at the same venue they started their pre-season training. The match will be played on August 3.
Sundowns are yet to announce new signings ahead of the new season, but it's understood they have been working behind the scenes to strengthen their squad. It's believed that they will be making announcements this week on new faces at the club.

The club still has to make a decision on the future of Thembinkosi Lorch, who was on loan to Moroccan outfit Wydad Casablanca.
