Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has revealed what the club needs from starlet Mduduzi Shabalala, with '10111' also explaining his advice to the young attacker.
The 18-year-old Shabalala opened his tally for Chiefs in the club's impressive 3-0 win over Maritzburg United at FNB Stadium in Soweto on Tuesday night.
Following his first win at the helm, Zwane emphasized the need to guide promising young players like Shabalala.
"Mduduzi, luckily, we are not far; we are close by. We know the mentality of those youngsters and what is actually happening, where they come from," Zwane told the media at FNB Stadium.

"Most of us were born and raised in Soweto, not only in Soweto but the mentality that we have in terms of giving praise too early and making these boys believe they've arrived. Luckily Mdu is one very humble young man, and we spend a lot of time with them. We make them aware of what is going on out there, and they listen," added Zwane.
The Soweto giants coach also revealed what he told Shalabala before the midfielder came on as a second-half substitute against The Team of Choice.
"And I told him against Maritzburg, 'no matter whether we're under pressure or leading, I'm going to give you the opportunity, and I want to see you go out there, showcase your talent and express yourself', and he did very well," he said.
"With the size of his body, we looked at him, and we went him, he was pressing, energic and that's what we need from our youngsters, and this can only help all our different age groups at national level because the country needs players who can play at this level in order to get it right. And if we are afraid of getting results because we don't want to play these players, I've always said that if you are a coach and you are afraid of losing, unfortunately, you're always going to lose."
