On January 06, Chiefs launched a new look logo and jersey to honour their 50th anniversary.
"Turning 50 is a remarkable landmark for us as Kaizer Chiefs… We have worked tirelessly through the years to make the club the institution it is today. The new jersey pays tribute to the club's strong heritage and rich history. We truly stand on the shoulders of giants, as our Chairman always says, and we look forward to celebrating this year and milestone with the club's supporters," Amakhosi's Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung confirmed at the time.

Chiefs have since donned their new jersey twice since it's launch, where they've even went on to record two 3-0 victories in its colours.
However, leading up to their 50th anniversary, Amakhosi's past decade has seen some great success in the earlier seasons, while also donning a new look black and gold jersey every year.
