Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki could be resorting to tactics that initially made Stuart Baxter successful at the club after admitting that "possession football" has not worked for them so far.
Chiefs only won their first game of the season in the DStv Premiership at the fourth time of asking after thrashing AmaZulu 3-0 on Saturday.

"If you look at the number of chances we created coming from the transition moments, it was well carried out," Ntseki said in the press conference.
"Our front four very smart in terms of charging the space, the timing of runs and the support we were getting from the midfield and everybody.
"In football because of the evolution that we're all experiencing, you always keep possession, you have spaces to play but at the same time, when you're playing against a team that applies a high press, you need to have a plan B," he said.
The Glamour Boys were last successful when former coach Baxter was in charge between 2012 and 2015, where the Soweto giants were revered for their transition football.
Ntseki, who was the English coach's assistant at Bafana Bafana between 2017 and 2019, where transition football was the main feature, suggested that the club would like to play possession football but if it's not bringing results, they have to look at another way of playing.
"In the past three games that we played we had the possession but we did not have very good last third entries in terms of numbers and chances we created," Ntseki continued.

"So we realized what was very important coming into this game was we don't concede, we stay compact, at the same time they tried to open the game, go into wide areas, as we regain possession we go into the midfield and we're quick to do that.
"In terms of how we play as Kaizer Chiefs we want to dominate possession but if you don't dominate possession, what else can work for you? What can also work for you is if they create spaces for you to go on a counter, you go on a counter," he added.
Amakhosi will next be in action when they travel to Stellenbosch on Wednesday evening before hosting Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final first-leg on Saturday.
