Castro has enjoyed a remarkable turnaround at Naturena this season, with the Colombian going from being transfer-listed and on the brink of an exit, to becoming a key figure in Ernst Middendorp's title-chasing Glamour Boys outfit.

With his contract expiring at the end of the current campaign, there have been talks going on for some time between Chiefs and the South American striker, but the Siya crew has also been led to believe that there is interest from Mamelodi Sundowns as well as North Africa in the 30-year-old.

It appears, however, that the former Masandawana forward has his heart set on staying with Chiefs for the foreseeable future, describing them as a team that 'you want to give everything to remain part of'.

As quoted in a graphic on Chiefs' official Instagram account, the forward said, "For me, it is a great honour to be part of the legacy of chiefs in this moment… We all know what Kaizer Chiefs means to South African football.
