Agent: Mosimane's Son Rea Closing In On Italian Club

Reatlegile Mosimane has been linked with a move to Roma in Italy.

Reatlegile "Rea" Mosimane, son of legendary African coach Pitso Mosimane and current Kaizer Chiefs Under-14 player, is on the verge of securing a move to a top Italian club after impressing during recent trials.

The young Mosimane, who has been developing his skills in the Chiefs youth system, is part of a small group of elite South African youth talents being scouted by European clubs through the efforts of a sports academy.

In an exclusive interview with Soccer Laduma, Jorge Abong from Rojo Soccer Agency confirmed that Rea's trials last month were progressive, with Italian interest now concrete.

This development also comes as nine-year-old Gauteng-born midfielder Ikenna Tladi has secured his move to AS Roma's development academy.

"Ikenna Tladi has officially signed for AS Roma. We have as well organised trials for Rea Mosimane (Kaizer Chiefs U14). Last month he did well and the club is interested in signing him. We have organised for Shamir Mattera from SuperSport, he is now invited to join the club for pre-season at the end of July. The scouts from Europe were here and they were impressed with Tladi before he traveled to Italy with his mother to finalise the deal. He is now an AS Roma player," Abong told Soccer Laduma.

The agent further stated that there are other youngsters who will be going to Italy in the near future.

"These are not the only three players who will be going to Italy. We are working on other players as well and once everything is sorted out then we will be in a position to let you know. But there is great potential of young players moving to Europe," Abong concluded.

The signing represents a significant milestone in South African youth football development, with major European clubs increasingly turning their attention to untapped talent from the region.
