Kaizer Chiefs fans were treated to a new-look Amakhosi kit this week to celebrate 50 years of existence, and their stars did it justice with a rampant 3-0 victory.

The Glamour Boys saw off Highlands Park on Wednesday night – one day after their 50th birthday – to go six points clear at the top of the Absa Premiership table, with supporters getting to see the new all-black strip in all of its glory.

Previously it was just the shirts that had been seen in the build-up to the birthday celebrations, but now fans have got to see how the full kit looks including the shorts, socks and printing.

It was a night to remember at FNB Stadium for the players who did get to don their new colours in front of a big crowd to celebrate the club's half-century, and one that they will never forget having seen the Amakhosi legends that also made the trip for the game.

The likes of Doctor Khumalo, Joseph 'Banks' Sethlodi, Lucky Stylianou, Jackie Masike, Zebulon 'Sputla' Nhlapo, Brian 'Spiderman' Baloyi, Arthur '10111' Zwane, Lucky Maselesele, Marks 'Go-Man-Go' Maponyane, Cyril 'Skhokho' Nzama, David 'DVD' Mathebula, Fabian McCarthy and Siphiwe Tshabalala were all there to pay homage to the club, enjoying a massive birthday cake in their honour.
