Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs have announced the departure of another player a few weeks after the close of the 2024/25 season.
Having already confirmed the departures of Ranga Chivaviro, Sabelo Radebe and Njabulo Blom, Amakhosi have revealed that they have let go of a defender who spent most of the past campaign out with an injury.

In a statement on social media, Amakhosi confirmed the departure of Mozambican international Edmilson Dove.
"Chiefs and Dove Part Ways Kaizer Chiefs and defender Edmilson Dove will part ways when his contract expires at the end of June. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Edmilson for his contributions to the Club and wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
The former Cape Town City defender was with the Soweto giants for three seasons, joining them while Arthur Zwane was still the coach. When the 2024/25 season started, he was not registered due to injury but came back in the second half of the campaign to play a part in Amakhosi's Nedbank Cup success.
