The 31-year-old forward, who hails from Limpopo, joined Amakhosi ahead of the 2023/24 season following a standout campaign with Marumo Gallants. He signed a two-year deal upon arrival but will now part ways with the club once that contract expires at the end of this month.
In total, Chivaviro made 45 official appearances for Chiefs over two seasons, scoring nine goals and providing one assist in all competitions.
Despite being viewed as a much-needed attacking reinforcement when he arrived at Naturena, the veteran striker found game time inconsistent under various coaches during his stay. As a result, the club has decided against extending his stay beyond the 2024/25 campaign.
Chiefs are expected to undergo a squad reshuffle in the coming weeks as they prepare for the new season under a yet-to-be-announced permanent head coach.
Chivaviro becomes the latest senior figure to head for the exit door at Naturena, as the club looks to rebuild and challenge more competitively in the upcoming campaign.
The likes of Sabelo Radebe and Njabulo Blom have already left the club.
