Mamelodi Sundowns right-back Khuliso Mudau is understood to have attracted interest from Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek SC, as the Bafana Bafana international continues to catch the eye across the continent.
According to sources close to the situation, the Cairo-based giants have been closely monitoring Mudau's progress, with a view to potentially making a move during the current transfer window.

“Zamalek have been made aware of Mudau’s situation and they like what they see. He is a player who’s been consistent and has the profile that would suit them,” a Siya source revealed.
The 30-year-old has been a standout performer for Sundowns both domestically and in continental competition, becoming a key figure in coach Miguel Cardoso’s setup and a regular starter for Bafana.
While interest in Mudau has intensified in recent months, the Siya crew has been informed that Sundowns have moved swiftly to tie the player down to a new deal.
Following lengthy negotiations, it’s believed the full-back has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at Chloorkop until June 2027.
This latest development puts Sundowns in a stronger negotiating position and sends a clear signal that they are not prepared to part with one of their most reliable performers easily.
Mudau’s rise over the past two seasons has not gone unnoticed. In addition to Zamalek, the defender was previously linked with Esperance Sportive de Tunis, as reported by Soccer Laduma, and interest from Europe has also been mentioned in local football circles.
His CAF Champions League experience, FIFA Club World Cup performances, pace, work rate, and tactical discipline have made him one of the most sought-after right-backs on the continent.
With the Brazilians having locked Mudau into a longer-term deal, any move from Zamalek would require a significant offer and likely a convincing personal package for the player.
At this stage, there has been no official confirmation of a formal approach from the Egyptian club.

Sundowns, meanwhile, are assembling a squad to challenge again on all fronts next season and are unlikely to let key players go without a fight.
