The story
Combining the worlds of football and fashion comes easily to Teko Modise, with his elite style helping him to seamlessly crossover onto the local pop culture scene.
The Mamelodi Sundowns ambassador rocked an eye-catching tuxedo to Saturday’s Metro FM awards, hosted at the Mbombela Stadium.
Modise was dressed by Nala Privé, an in-house brand of the Africa Fashion Institute, which sponsored the red carpet at the awards.
The dapper "Dona" wore garments from Nala Privé's Afro Dandy-inspired collection. Modise's sequin-filled tuxedo was embellished with intricate details, expertly tailored for his shape, with an avant-garde blazer hooded and cropped to his waist.
