The story
South African football fans have been promised plenty of thrills and spills during the pre-match build-up to the much-anticipated Soweto derby between foes Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates on Saturday.
As stated by Saturday's hosts, Orlando Pirates' media on Tuesday, Stadium Management South Africa and Carling Black Label will have a Pre-Game Early Arrival Beer Garden, designed to not only elevate the matchday experience but also encourage fans to arrive early to the fixture.
Before the likes of Patrick Maswanganyi, Relebohile Mofokeng, Mduduzi Shabalala and Mfundo Vilakazi entertain with their mesmerising skills, supporters can get warmed up for the match by dancing to DJs and producers, MUZI, DBN Gogo and DJ Stopper.
Here's the order of performances:
- DJ Stopper: 12h15 – 13h00
- Muzi: 13h00 – 13h45
- DBN Gogo: 13h45 – 14h30
Situated across from Gate M at FNB Stadium, this lively beer garden is set to be a hub of football, music, and community, creating a vibrant and festive experience for all match attendees.
Gates open at 11:30, exclusively for ticket holders. The entertainment wraps up at 14:30, an hour before kick-off, giving fans plenty of time to take their seats before the match gets underway.
