The launch weekend of the Relebohile Mofokeng Foundation was a resounding success, drawing the community together on Saturday, 14 June.
The exciting, action-packed day featured a vibrant Family Fun Day, a coaching clinic and a glamorous gala event.
The fun day offered activities such as jumping castles, play zones, food stalls, merchandise sales, and a market exhibition at the DDK River Lodge in Vanderbijlpark.
Mofokeng's foundation was supported by brands like aQuellé, Blue Ribbon, and Super C Sweets on the day, embodying Mofokeng's mission to nurture future leaders, promote healthy lifestyles, and build a brighter, more inclusive future for all in the Vaal.
The foundation's launch not only highlighted Mofokeng's commitment to community development but also showcased his growing influence in SA football, with the coaching clinic amplifying the youngster’s mission.
In collaboration with FARPost, Lucky Star, FUTpro, the Relebohile Mofokeng Foundation hosted a coaching Seminar and clinics at Tsoaranang Primary School in Sharpeville.
As his star power for both Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana continues to grow, Mofokeng's dedication to giving back to his roots in the Vaal region was evident on Saturday, and the special day was wrapped up with a glitzy gala event at the Fundraising Gala Dinner at the Riveira Hotel in Vereeniging.
Mofokeng was supported by teammate Thabiso Sesane and Kaizer Chiefs rising star Mfundo Vilakazi at the gala, with the legendary Doctor Khumalo making an appearance.
