The story
Ahead of the 2025/26 season, Betway Premiership giants Orlando Pirates secured an exciting new deal with Suzuki, further elevating the club's status as a brand magnate.
The Soweto giants, who recently returned from their pre-season tour in Spain, are one of Africa's most marketable teams, and the players will be donning a Suzuki logo on the sleeves of their jerseys for the upcoming campaign.
The Japanese carmakers announced the partnership with the Buccaneers on their social media channels on Thursday morning, adding to the plethora of brands that sponsor the club.
"A new chapter starts here. Suzuki is proud to be the official vehicle partner of Orlando Pirates Football Club. From the streets to the stadium, we move as one," Suzuki said on social media.
Suzuki joins the likes of Vodacom, Carling Black Label, SuperSportBET, Oppo, Adidas, Aquelle, and Marriott Bonvoy as the major sponsors for Pirates.
In unveiling the partnership between the two brands, Suzuki shared a campaign video featuring stars Olisa Ndah, Sipho Chaine, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Boitumelo Radiopane and new stars Sihle Ndluli as well as Sinoxolo Kwayiba.
The campaign video embraces the club's heritage while showing the players in their new kits, next to the club-branded Suzuki rides at the Orlando Stadium.
